Our Academics: CLASS life in three "schools"

Lower School:  Consists of One Pre-School classroom, Two Pre-Kindergarten
 classrooms and Two Kindergarten/1st Grade classrooms.
Middle  School:  Consists of our 1st Grade classrooms and 2nd Grade classrooms.
Upper School:  Consists of our 3rd Grade through 8th Grade classrooms.
 

LOWER SCHOOL

Lower School consists of three beginning Pre-K classes, The Balloons, The Choco Toucans, and The Toco Toucans. Additionally, we have two advanced Pre-K/Kindergarten classes, The Discovery Rockets & The Challenger Rockets.

The school day for our Lower School students begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm. To be considered for enrollment, all Lower School students must be at least 2 ½ years old and fully potty trained. Additionally, CLASS Academy requires a two-year enrollment agreement.

The Balloons

The Balloons class is a beginning Pre-K class with a maximum enrollment of 10 students. Our Balloon students range in age between 2.5 – 4 years old. Students begin with the fundamentals of academic skills while also focusing heavily on social, emotional, and school readiness skills.

The Toucans

The Toucans classes are Pre-K classes with an enrollment of 10 students per class. Our Toucan students range in age between 3.5 – 5 years old. Students continue fundamentals of academic skills while continuing on social, emotional, and school readiness skills.

The Rockets

The Discovery and Challenger Rocket classes are advanced Pre-K/Kindergarten classes with class sizes of 10 students. Rocket students range in age between 4 – 5 years old. The students continue to develop school readiness skills, but primarily begin to focus on teacher directed academic goals in early literacy, mathematic foundations, fine motor proficiency, and more.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Middle School consists of our Kindergarten(K/1), First Grade, and Second Grade classes. The school day for Middle School begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:30pm.

Wallabies & Kangaroos

The Wallabies and Kangaroo classes are our K/1st and First Grade classes with an average enrollment limit of 12 students. The students range in age between 4.5 – 7 years old. Students focus on specific academic goals for reading, mathematics, and enrichment studies including science, writing, and art.

Knights & Dragons

The Knights and Dragon classes are First/Second & Second Grade classes with a maximum enrollment limit of 15 students. Students range in age between 6 – 8 years old. In addition to focused instruction in all typical content areas, students also have science, art, gym, and music classes daily.

UPPER SCHOOL

Upper School consists of Third Grade through Eighth Grade classes with an average class size of 14 students.  The Chinooks & Falcons are our 3rd/4th grade, The Eagles are our 4th/5th grade, The Thunderbirds are our 5th/6th grade, and The Liberty class is our 6th/7th/8th grade class.

Chinooks & Falcons

The Chinook & Falcon classes are Third/Fourth Grade classes. The students range in age between 7 – 10 years old. In addition to focused instruction in all typical content areas, students have Science, Art, Gym, IT and Music classes daily.

Eagles

The Eagles class is a 4th grade class. Students stay with their homeroom teacher for Reading/Language Arts, and Math, yet rotate between partner teachers that specialize in content area for all remaining subjects (Writing, Science, History, Music, and Art). In addition to focused instruction in all typical content areas, students also have Gym and IT daily.

Thunderbird & Liberty

The Thunderbird & Liberty classes are 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes. Students stay with their homeroom teacher for Reading/Language Arts and Math, yet rotate between partner teachers that specialize in a content area for all remaining subjects (Writing, Science, History, Music, and Art). In addition to focused instruction in all typical content areas, students also have Gym and IT daily.
