March 2, 2021 Principal Communication

Good afternoon,

It's March. It's hard to believe that we have been living in this new normal for an entire year. While we may be tired we cannot stop taking necessary precautions. We have continued to follow our protocols and we hope that each family is taking the responsibility to keep our school community safe as well.

Hand washing, masks, social distancing, limited social get-togethers, and if you are eligible to go get vaccinated!

Spring Break is just around the corner. We are closed March 22 - March 26. Updated Travel Policy

  • I know many are hoping or planning to travel. The Oregon Health Authority updated their travel policy last week and it is what we follow.

  • CLASS Academy Travel Policy - Details around hosting a traveler is included in our policy as well.

Reregistration Packets

We have sent out packets for you to fill out. Please do so in a timely fashion.

CAPA Annual Auction

It'll be a bit different but it's going to be so much fun! The virtual silent auction will open on April 24th and the live virtual event is on May 1st at 4pm. Put it on your calendars!

When will we get back to a normal schedule?

This global pandemic is hard and we’ve made the most of it. The kids are happy and they’re learning here at school! The Oregon Department of Education’s Director, Colt Gill, has referred this as a two year pandemic. We are working hard to ensure a safe educational environment that is as close as possible to what we had in the past.

Schools have come up with a schedule that will work for their population, resources, and needs. This varies from students learning on site to all students learning virtually, and everything in between. These new schedules have become the industry’s norm during the pandemic due to safety guidelines put in place to keep us all safe.
